Cognitive Rehabilitation
A new practitioner will be joining Neuropsykoski this Fall 2024!
Jie Chang is a bilingual (English/Mandarin) PhD candidate in clinical psychology at Concordia University, who has recently finished her full-year pre-doctoral internship. Jie will be practising under my supervision while she completes the requirements to apply for professional licensing.
Jie Chang will be offering individual psychotherapy that aims to improve cognitive functioning and overall mental well-being in individuals who struggle with attention, memory and executive functioning. Jie has worked with individuals who experienced cognitive difficulties as a result of conditions such as concussion or stroke. She believes that cognitive and mental well-being go hand-in-hand and is interested in supporting clients in improving both aspects of their health. Therapeutic approaches will combine cognitive rehabilitation interventions with elements of cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
